About Us
We’re a union organization that aims to study, improve and defend the rights of our affiliated workers and their families.
ROOTS OF OUR HISTORY.
On March 29th, 1936, while Mexico was experiencing an economic and political authority crisis, 15 visionary trade unions from Monterrey, were seeking to stay out of political ideals, organized to create the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Nuevo León.
This organization was created in the spirit of recognizing the eminent human dignity of the worker, who should not only be the object, but the center of the socio-economic institutions in which he or she participates. This was established in the declaration of principles on January 24th, 1964, the date on which it became the National Federation of Independent Trade Unions.
Even before the IMSS was created, our union communities had acquired specialized and professional medical services for workers and their families.
Thirty-five years before the Federal Labor Law contemplated the concept of a 15-day bonus, in the collective contracts of our unions, it was already established that companies had to pay up to 3 weeks, as well as the seventh day payment.
